Suburban Blend hits up Holiday Valley

Pete snowboarding POV from Suburban Blend on Vimeo.

PLAY TO WIN RAIN OR SHINE

The east coast has been hit with some rain lately but honestly anyone who knows better, understands that just because there's a little bit of water coming down, doesn't mean it's the end of the world. As a matter of fact thats why there's GORE-TEX technology.
The reality of the average snowboarder's budget is that most people can afford some kind of water resistant materials, but not everyone can afford bullet proof gore-tex. Thats why Stoked On Ice presents........ The Plastic Poncho!!

#1 Skier Dad??

#1 Skier Dad from Family Tree on Vimeo.

First an foremost, no one here is a winner. Although at first the skiers not only failed to follow the code, but #1 skier dad failed to even know what the code was/is. If he knew that it was his job to pay attention and now punch a snowboarder we could have moved on and not had a video made for your kids to remember forever. For all the misinformed please read below for the code:

  • Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
  • People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
  • You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
  • Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  • Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  • Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
  • Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.

Red is what the skiers failed.

Yellow is what both failed.

So more importantly as stated by t shirts by Lift Gear KNOW THE CODE. Let us know what you think.
