New Year's Week

New Year's week was a complete sucess at Hunter Mountain. It seemed as though we couldn't get to the top fast enough, with days of bluebird and classic east coast powder days, the fun was endless. Checkout some of the shots taken. The New Year came with a bang, after the torches light up, the snow soon followed.

Riders included: Evan Czmola, Eric Dykes, Chris Paternostro, Donald Pesciotta, Joe Sadler

Hunter Mountain Opening Day Pics

Hunter Mountain opened yesterday(12/10/09) and I was able to sneak up and get some riding in along with some scenery shots. I left at around 4am, and I don't think I have ever seen the city that empty before.
Hunter had two ways down the mountain: Helgate to Kennedy Drive and Belt Parkway. Both had an amazing base of snow, and since the high temperature was 25, they were blowing so they could have more opened for the weekend. The pictures are posted below.
